Maki food

Maki means "to wrap" or "to roll".
There are a lot of "maki"s in Japanese culture.

 

 Here Naruto - they are in ramen ...

Everyone knows and everyone loves - maki-zushi, roll sushi wrapped in nori.

Temaki-zushi - great fun in your party!

There are many other maki foods!

Haru-maki (spring roll)

Kobu-maki (seaweed roll)

U-maki (unagi in omlet)

Date-maki (sushi in omlet)

Chimaki - traditional sweet in bamboo leaf for boy's day
